Return and Refund Policy

At Running Duck Studio, we take pride in creating unique, one-of-a-kind original artworks. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not affected by this policy. If your artwork arrives damaged, is faulty, or does not match its description on the website, you are entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate under the ACL.

Damaged or Faulty Artwork

If your artwork arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at our discretion. Please retain all original packaging as this may be required for any shipping insurance claim.

Returns for Change of Mind

As these are one-of-a-kind original handmade artworks, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Each piece is unique and cannot be resold as new once it has left our studio.

Returning Artwork

If a return is approved under the conditions above:

In-Person Pickup Returns

Artworks collected in person from our Dayboro studio or at exhibition events may be returned in person by prior arrangement. The same inspection conditions apply — artwork must be returned in its original condition. Any artwork that shows signs of damage or mishandling after collection will not be accepted for return.

Purchases from Gallery Outlets

For artworks purchased at our partner galleries and outlets, the return policy of that specific outlet applies. Please check with the outlet directly for their terms.

Commission Work

Commissioned artworks are created to your specifications and are non-refundable once work has commenced. The 50% deposit is non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with the final piece, we will work with you to make reasonable adjustments.

Contact Us

For any return or refund queries, please contact Running Duck Studio before initiating a return. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly.
