About the RDS artist
My name is Danielle B Latta, and I am the founder and owner of Running Duck Studio (RDS) and LATTA.
I have lived in the outback, the coast, and the inner city. Now I reside on a small, lush green hillside near a quaint and creative town just outside of Brisbane, Australia.
I began as a portraitist in 1988, developing an eye for fine detail and emotional expression. Six years at Walt Disney Animation Australia then gave me something different – a fearless drawing stroke, which led to confidence with ink, and the ability to tell a whole story in a single image.
Today, my work is entirely my own. exploring movement, gesture and emotional connection through expressive ink artworks. Bold ink drawings that capture life’s quiet, powerful moments – the bond between a child and an animal, the character of an Australian farmer, the stillness of wildlife. Each piece is hand drawn, one of a kind, and made to be felt.
LATTA exhibits through studio events and regional art trails in Queensland, including participation in the Tawny Trails arts program. Her work is held in private collections in Australia.

Next I’d like to get: A man and woman together A woman with 2 little girls (however, I suspect my husband may contact you regarding this for a Mother’s Day gift too, so I don’t want to double up) Could you send me a photo of any pictures you have that might suit those stages of life? Alternatively, how much would you charge if I commissioned you to do one that looked more like us? Next I’ll be looking to incorporate our pets into the timeline.
