DAY TWO: Subject study – Rhino

Inspiring original artworks in support of white rhino conservation at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya

The last two white rhinos are in the care of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. Their keepers watch over them during the day and put them to bed at night. I was able to view their movements, posture and gentle nature for such chunky individuals.

In honour of those caring for the animals, I have done several supporting artworks involving images of the rhinos and their keepers.

The Shop That Mixed Paint for Cezanne

Monday’s list said one word: Sennelier. The paint shop on the quay that has been serving artists since 1887. On the way there the Left Bank gave me green glass bubbles, a wall of steel cyclists, and an entire film crew in the Palais-Royal.
