I’m Danielle Latta, and everything on this site is hand-drawn by me. Every line, every ink spot, every detail. Each piece is one of a kind, drawn in my studio overlooking the fish and frog pond, the vegetable garden, and the paddocks beyond. No prints, no reproductions. Just original ink on paper.
I’ve grouped my work into six galleries, each with its own theme and feel. Here’s a quick walk through what you’ll find.

- Black and White Gallery
This is the heart of what I do. Rich blacks against crisp whites, where every mark is about light, shadow, and the character of the subject. These are the pieces I keep coming back to. There’s a sophistication in stripping everything back to monochrome that I never get tired of. - Vintage Life Gallery
A collection inspired by bygone eras: everyday scenes, old traditions, and moments from a slower time. What I’m trying to capture here is the feeling of those times, not just the look. Each piece tells a small story, and I think that’s why people connect with them. - Covid Life Gallery
Covid changed everything for all of us. This collection came from that time: the emotions, the isolation, the small moments of connection that suddenly meant everything. Drawings like Supporting Each Other and Old School Fun capture what so many of us felt but struggled to put into words. - Endangered Series
This gallery means a lot to me. These ink drawings capture the beauty and vulnerability of species fighting for survival, animals losing ground to climate change, habitat destruction, and human encroachment. It’s a reminder of what we stand to lose. A percentage of each sale from this series goes to a nominated conservation effort. - Magic of Colour Gallery
Black and white is my home ground, but I wanted to see what would happen if I let colour in. This gallery is that experiment: ink drawings infused with vibrant hues. It’s a different energy entirely, and it was exciting to discover what colour could bring to a medium I’d always kept monochrome. - Functional Art
Art you can actually use. This collection includes bookmarks, coasters, phone cases, and apparel, all featuring my ink drawings. It’s a way to bring a bit of the studio into your everyday life without needing wall space.
Whether you’re a collector or just someone who likes the look of ink on paper, there’s something here for you. Have a wander through the shop and see what catches your eye. And if you’d like something made just for you, I also take commissions.
